Makes 20 truffles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ingredients for prunes and date truffles:<\/span><\/p>\n

• 1\/2 cup prunes (pitted)<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 cup dates (pitted)<\/li>\n
• 1 cup pecans<\/li>\n
• 1\/2 cup cocoa powder (you can use slightly less)<\/li>\n
• 3 – 4 tablespoons maple syrup, golden syrup, or honey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  For coating:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • melted chocolate, cocoa powder, or icing sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Place all truffle ingredients in a food processor and blend until finely chopped and well combined. Shape the mixture into small balls (about the size of a small walnut) and chill in the fridge until firm.<\/p>\n

    Roll the chilled truffles in cocoa powder, icing sugar, or coat in melted chocolate.<\/p>\n

    Store in the fridge.<\/p>\n
