Ingredients for the almond crumble:<\/u><\/p>\n
\n
- 110 g plain flour<\/li>\n
- 75 g butter<\/li>\n
- 60 g demerara sugar<\/li>\n
- 100 g almond flakes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Melt the butter. Add the plain flour and sugar, and mix with a fork until combined. Stir in the almond flakes and mix to combine.<\/p>\n
Ingredients for the strawberry filling:<\/u><\/p>\n
\n
- 500 g strawberries<\/li>\n
- 1 Tbsp sugar (or more)<\/li>\n
- 25 g ground almonds<\/li>\n
- 4 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Place all the ingredients in a 22 cm baking dish and mix to combine. Sprinkle the almond crumble evenly over the top.<\/p>\n
Bake at 180\u00b0C for about 30 minutes. The crumble should be golden brown, and the strawberry juices should be bubbling around the edges of the dish.<\/p>\n
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.<\/p>\n
