Ta-da! I think I can officially say that Nigella Express is open! Although I greeted it rather coolly at first – almost ice-cold, you might say – the book itself is warm, fragrant and full of recipes I’d love to try immediately. That doesn’t mean her earlier books will be forgotten
My children’s favourite smoothie. It tastes like strawberry ice cream, with the flavour of banana clearly noticeable. Best served well chilled – highly recommended!

This cranberry and white chocolate tart is wonderfully festive. The tart combines a crisp biscuit base, cranberry jam with a hint of orange, and a smooth white chocolate ganache. Decorated simply and with a winter touch – sprigs of rosemary and fresh cranberries.

Cinnamon swirl bundt cake is a cake made with sour cream and a cinnamon swirl running through the middle. It’s delicious, wonderfully moist and filled with the warm aroma of cinnamon. Perfect for the weather outside, which still can’t quite decide whether it’s already
Vaniljekranse are very popular Danish butter cookies made with plenty of vanilla. They are simple buttery ring-shaped biscuits with a hole in the centre, piped directly onto a baking tray from a piping bag, chilled and then baked.
These coconut truffles are wonderful – intensely coconutty, made with very little butter but plenty of melt-in-the-mouth white chocolate. My husband has been making frequent trips to the fridge today! Luckily (for me) the weather cooled down a bit, so shaping them
Rhubarb muffins – lightly sweet, with a crunchy topping and tart pieces of rhubarb. With the addition of chopped walnuts and cinnamon, the flavour combination is simply fantastic. Not only for rhubarb lovers!
