Chocolate milkshake

This chocolate milkshake recipe is an easy and quick way to prepare a delicious milkshake with only simple ingredients. To prepare a milkshake, we need vanilla ice cream (it can be homemade – which gives it the right consistency) and chocolate ganache. The ganache can be prepared much earlier and stored in the fridge or for more portions of a delicious chocolate milkshake :).

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g vanilla ice cream
  • 125 ml milk
  • chocolate ganache, recipe below

Put all ingredients into a bowl of a mixer and mix. Pour into glasses. Serve immediately with a portion of whipped cream on top.

Chocolate ganache:

  • 50 ml whipping cream, 30%
  • 50 g dark chocolate, chopped

Heat the whipping cream almost to boil in a small pot, and remove it from the hob. Add chopped chocolate and leave for 2 minutes. After the specified duration, continue stirring the mixture until a smooth sauce is formed. Set aside to cool slightly.

Chocolate ganache can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Before use, lightly heat in a water bath or microwave for a smooth consistency.
