
Carrot, apple and banana is a well-known flavour combination and a favourite Polish classic, often found on supermarket shelves in the UK ;). It’s easy to make at home – healthy, naturally sweet and made without any added sugar. To blend raw carrot smoothly, use a powerful blender; if yours isn’t very strong, grate the carrot first. Give it a try!
Serves: 2
Ingredients for the Kubuś smoothie:
- 1 carrot
- 1 apple
- ½ banana
- freshly squeezed juice of 2 oranges
- a few ice cubes (optional)
Peel the carrot and cut into thick slices. Peel and core the apple, then peel the banana.
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more orange juice or water to loosen. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
