
A delicious combination of spinach and pineapple in a light, refreshing smoothie. Spinach and pineapple smoothie is a quick dose of vitamins and everyday energy within easy reach. Spinach is a real nutritional powerhouse, especially rich in vitamins K and C, as well as fibre and minerals. The flavour of spinach is balanced by the other ingredients, so there’s nothing to worry about if you’re not usually a fan. Highly recommended!
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients for spinach and pineapple smoothie:
- 70 g fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- freshly squeezed juice of ½ lime
- a few ice cubes
Peel the pineapple and cut it into pieces. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
