Carrot-apple-banana is a well-known combination and a favourite Polish export product that dominates all the flavours of the supermarket shelves in the UK ;). It is easy to convince anyone to prepare this at home because it is healthy, made with natural products and has no added sugar. To properly blend the raw carrot, you need a blender with a strong engine; if you don’t have this, you must grate the carrot on a grater beforehand. Try it out!
Ingredients for two servings:
- 1 carrot
- 1 apple
- half a banana
- freshly squeezed juice from 2 oranges
- a few ice cubes optional
Peel the carrots and cut them into thick slices. Peel the apple and remove the seeds. Peel the banana.
Put all ingredients into a bowl of a mixer and mix. If the smoothie is too thick, add orange juice or water. Pour into glasses. Serve immediately.
