It would be a shame not to try this recipe over the May bank holiday. The most popular mango and yoghurt drink – nourishing, refreshing and delicious!

Makes about 1300 ml.

Ingredients for mango lassi:

  • 2 very ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted and chopped
  • 1½ cups natural yoghurt (light), chilled
  • 1 cup milk, chilled
  • 4 teaspoons golden syrup or honey
  • a few ice cubes
  • a few pinches of ground cardamom

Place the mango, yoghurt, milk, golden syrup and ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, sprinkle with cardamom and serve immediately.
