
This beautifully deep pink-red smoothie is made with blood oranges (still available in shops) and frozen cherries from the freezer. Banana, as always, gives it a lovely creamy texture. The cherry smoothie is absolutely delicious!
Serves 2.
Ingredients for the cherry and blood orange smoothie:
- 2 blood oranges
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- ½ banana
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- a few ice cubes
Juice the blood oranges and discard the peel. Peel the banana. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
